There are several opportunities to attend services at MSBC.

On Sunday mornings, we meet at 9:00 a.m. for Sunday School.  We offer classes geared to age groups from Nursery through the Golden years and beyond.

At 10:00 a.m., on Sunday mornings we meet for our primary worship service.  During this service, teens and adults meet in our auditorium and children ages 5 - 12 attend our Jr. Church.

Sunday evenings at 5:00 p.m. we meet for our Family Bible Hour.  Children and adults attend our combined service in the auditorium at this time.  This service incorporates a special time for children as well as meeting the needs of teens and adults through practical Bible preaching.

Tuesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. we meet for a time of prayer and in depth Bible study.  This service is attended by our children, teens, and adults combined.  Our detailed schedule can be see here...

Each of our services is distinctly different from the other.  That is, you can expect a different Bible message at each.

MSBC also holds special events and meetings on a regular basis.  These include activities for youth, and adults; special conferences; and opportunities for fellowship.  You can see a full calendar of upcoming events here...

MSBC believes in the absolute inspiration and inerrancy of the Scriptures, which is the cornerstone of our faith and practice as a New Testament Church.  We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ; His virgin birth; blood atonement; and bodily resurrection.  We believe in the Trinity; and the necessity of the new birth as taught by Christ in John chapter 3.    You can read our full doctrinal statement here...

Understanding that our Lord is three times holy, we believe in a Christ Honoring form of worship combined with helpful Bible messages.  Because Christ is the way, the truth, and the life and no man can go to the Father but by Him (John 14:6), you can expect Christ to be our central theme.  At each of our services you can expect to participate in worship through singing time-tested and God glorifying music as well as hearing a practical and relevant Bible message.  Often you will hear refreshing and uplifting special music from one or more of our members.

Many members and guests find that it’s easier and more fulfilling to participate in Bible study when they have their own copy of the Bible with them during worship so that they can underline or highlight particular verses for later study. During the preaching time, key Bible verses will be displayed on the overhead screens for those who do not have a Bible with them.

If you prefer to take simple notes, a special note sheet is provided.  You may also prefer to bring your own pencil, pen, highlighter, and or notebook.

Each of our services is digitally recorded and available on CD for further study.  Some of our members like to give CD’s as a gift to friends and relatives that could not attend our services.  You can hear some of our Bible messages and special music here...

For your children 3 years and younger you can expect a safe, clean nursery staffed by loving members of MSBC.  Our nursery is equipped with a discreet paging system which allows staff to contact you during the service if needed.

We also have age specific Sunday School classes for everyone on Sundays at 9:00 a.m.  Your children will thoroughly enjoy our kind and caring teachers.

During our 10:00 a.m. Sunday worship we offer an exciting, Christ centered, Bible lesson in our Jr. Church for those ages 4 - 12.

During our 6:00 p.m. Sunday service we have a combined worship time with children and adults including special times geared for both.

MSBC has a great and growing youth group, teens will find friends, enjoy special outings, and learn Biblical truths to help them effectively navigate their way to adulthood.

MSBC is equipped with state of the art electronic Assistive Listening Devices (ALD) for the hearing impaired, just ask one of our sound booth staff for your device if needed.  Please note, that at present, MSBC is not able to translate our services for those requiring Sign Language.

One of the first things you’ll notice about MSBC is the warm loving group of people who worship together and call Mountain Side ‘home’.  You can expect to meet and be welcomed by young adults; families; and those who are enjoying the grandchildren during each of our services.

There is no dress code for those attending MSBC.  Our ministry leaders, and many of our church family dress in more traditional ‘Sunday’ dress (Tuesday evenings are a bit more casual); however, our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable on your visit here at Mountain Side Baptist!

The Pastor would love to meet you!  Pastor Bulawa and his wife, Paula, are available after each service to personally greet our guests and they ask that you take a moment to stop and say hello.

If you would like a more in-depth visit with the Pastor, please call the church (623.734.2394) to set up a time for a personal visit or phone call.

Yes!  Mountain Side Baptist has chosen to convert warehouse space into space suited to our ministry needs.  From the outside you can expect our building to have more of an appearance of a ‘strip mall’ than a church.  However, from the inside you will find nicely appointed, very functional space with more of a ‘traditional church feel’.  But what really makes a difference is the sweet spirit of those who call MSBC home, come visit and experience it for yourself!

Everyone needs a place to call home; a place where they are welcome; and can grow.  The greatest need in the world today is for a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  At MSBC you can find all of this and more.

If you have any more questions please continue to explore or web site and feel free to contact us at any time.  We would love to hear from you and count a privilege to speak with you!  You can find our contact information here...
